Extremely light weight, saves over 7 lbs on the installation weight compared to the factory plastic fairings. Flight tested to show a 5-6 mph increase in cruise speed. The kit comes with all four strut fairing pieces, two bottom combining pieces, four 3D printed parts to close out the openings, and ribs to position the fairings on the strut. Shock Monster Shock Fairings
Introducing our newest product, Carbon Fiber Shock Fairings by DC Composites, specifically designed for the TK1 Shock Monster Shocks. These fit All Kitfox, Highlander, Carbon Cub, Legend Cub, Super Cub aircraft with Shock Monster Shocks. Flight testing on a Kitfox series 7 showed a 3-4 mph increase in cruise speeds. They look fantastic and also keep your shocks clean during off airport operations. Shock body fairings are $1250 with the optional lower shock strut tube fairing for an additional $125.

Innovative carbon fiber constructed SLATS from Carbon Concepts. The Kitfox uses six 4' SLAT sections, 3 on each wing. SLAT mounts are an option on the Piggy Back STOL wing from Snake River Bush Planes. Mounting to a Standard or STI wing is possible but will be accomplished by the builder. Current pricing is $3450 for 6 SLATS.
